Why Do I Write?

Why is it so hard to think
Of the words to write to you?
Pen running out of ink
That’s a lie, not so true

Maybe it’s the words
I’m running out of
You shattering my world
Is all I can ever think of

So why do I write to you?
To be heard I guess
Know that I made it through
Though I breathe less and less
