Tonight, I am allowing myself to break
I have been brave for quite a while
I’m tired from stopping my world to shake
And I lost every reason to smile

I was once tough, now I am scared

Trust is needed, in love. It is needed to hold character in place, through understanding, through purpose. If a person has found someone to love, then they should never take it lightly. It is because the other might be the one who truly has a place in the relationship. If that is the case, then they will feel betrayed, once they find out that the other is not taking the love with as much seriousness as they do. They’ll begin to doubt, being to wonder, begin to get confused.

I once heard the words, “There’s always only one broken soul, in a ruined relationship.” I forget where I heard that from, though I think it was from a book. I think it means that one side has moved on, while the other side is still holding on.

Love is the mountain meant to be made out of the molehill, because it must be taken with that much seriousness. Though, of course… not enough to overthink. 🙂
